Big Drops with Mega Brave & Mega Symphonia

Japanese collectors have started sharing sneak peeks of the secret rares from the Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia sets and they're looking unreal. The dual release are on the shelves now!!

We’re seeing the debut of a brand-new rarity: MUR, which is likely short for Mega Ultra Rare. These aren't just shiny reprints either — the MUR cards feature fresh, original artwork that’s a serious step up from the typical gold variants we’ve seen in the past.

The SAR in this set is going to be Mitsuru for Mega Symphonia and Lillie for Mega Brave.

Also making a debut are regular full art versions of Trainer cards. The new full arts have a glitter overlay, giving them a slick new texture that stands out from what we’re used to.

For AR fans, both Ninjask and Shedinja will be featured in the set, and as a massive bonus for longtime fans, Lt. Surge is finally getting his first-ever full art card.

It’s shaping up to be a massive set, Don't miss out!

New Mega Brave & Mega Symphonia Sets Just Revealed in Japan!

The next big drop in the Pokémon TCG world has just been announced — and it’s a beauty! At Japan’s Champions League tournament, they officially unveiled Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia, the first two sets in the brand-new MEGA block.

These sets are launching on August 1st, and they’re bringing back some heavy hitters: Mega Lucario ex and Mega Gardevoir ex are leading the charge. Each set will have 63 cards before secret rares, so there’s plenty to get excited about.

This marks a big shift too — we’re officially leaving the Scarlet & Violet era behind as the TCG starts hyping up the new Legends: Z-A games. With this new block, we’re getting some cool upgrades, including full art Item cards like Rare Candy and Night Stretcher! (Up until now, we’ve only seen those as gold cards.)

And yep, the Illustration Rares are still going strong — Bulbasaur, Vulpix, and Inteleon have already been revealed and they look stunning.

We’ll be keeping an eye out for more reveals in the lead-up to launch, so stay tuned if you want first dibs when these land in Japan — or if you want to get your hands on a box shipped straight to your door here in Australia.

Limited Edition “Special Boxes” Dropping in Japan – Featuring Exclusive Pikachu Promos!

Oi legends, exciting news coming out of Japan! There’s a brand new set of Special Boxes on the way, and they’re packed with some seriously awesome gear for collectors and players alike.

Each box features a unique foil promo card of Pikachu dressed up to rep one of three iconic regions – Tohoku, Hiroshima, or Fukuoka. The artwork on these cards is themed around the local culture, and they look absolutely mint!

But that’s not all — each box also comes with:

-A full set of 64 themed card sleeves

-One premium matching deck box

-Everything packed into a sleek long card storage box, all wrapped in stunning full-art limited edition packaging.

At the moment, these beauties are only available via online lottery in Japan. But based on how these usually go, we’re tipping they’ll be hitting Pokémon Center shelves sometime between mid-August and late September.

Keen to get your hands on one? Pre-orders will be opening soon right here at Trade Stack, so flick us an email if you're keen and we’ll make sure you don’t miss out.

And don’t forget — we offer $30 flat-rate shipping to Australia, so you can shop with peace of mind knowing your gear will make it home safe and sound.

Black Bolt & White Flare secret Rares and Pull Rates Revealed!

The new Black Bolt and White Flare Pokémon sets have officially dropped in Japan, and fans over there have been flooding social media with photos of the secret rares – and honestly, they look unreal.

What’s got everyone talking is the fact that all 156 Unova Pokémon have scored either an Illustration Rare or Special Illustration Rare. It’s the first time we've seen something like this, and collectors are already going wild trying to catch them all.

On top of that, all the non-ex Pokémon and regular Trainer cards in these sets come with both Poké Ball and Master Ball reverse holo versions – a nice little bonus for anyone keen on building a shiny binder.

To top it all off, the two big secret rares of the set – Zekrom ex (#164) and Reshiram ex (#174) – come with a brand new rarity called BWR, which most reckon stands for Black and White Rare. It’s a cool little nod to their legendary status and the classic Black & White era.

If you’re collecting from this set or thinking about it, now’s a great time to jump in. These cards are going to be ones to watch.

Black Bolt and White Flare

Trainers, get ready! The Pokémon Trading Card Game is about to drop one of its most ambitious releases yet. The upcoming dual sets, Black Bolt and White Flare, are launching in Japan on June 6th—and they’re already shaping up to be some of the most in-demand products of the year.

Featuring all 156 Unova Pokémon, each Pokémon will receive five unique card treatments, including a regular card, reverse holo, Poké Ball reverse holo, Master Ball reverse holo, and either an Illustration Rare or Special Illustration Rare. That brings the total number of unique cards to over 800 across the two sets!

With this kind of scale and fan anticipation, it’s no surprise that early reports are warning of major shortages in the U.S. market. Whether you're collecting or competing, we strongly recommend keeping an eye out for pre-orders and securing your boxes early to avoid disappointment.

Also arriving shortly after release is the Unova Victini Illustration Collection, available from August 1st. This exclusive product will include two booster packs from each set, plus limited-edition Victini promo cards—perfect for collectors and players alike.

We're excited to be offering pre orders for this set. You can choose Black or White or get both. Link for pre orders below.
